Within 24 hours...two teachers
Within 24 hours two teachers, one from a Dallas school and the other from a Grand Prarie school have both been accused of having sex with a student. A Grand Prarie teacher has been arrested on charges that "HE" had sex with a 12-year old boy. The teacher from the Dallas area school has been accused of having sex with a 14-year old girl in a school classroom. What is wrong with this teaching system? I don't understand how a 26-year old teacher can have sex with a 14-year old student. Did she consent to it?? Of course she did and let me guess....later he pissed her off and what does she decide to do??? She jumps up and tells mommy and daddy about what happened, and of course they call the authorities. Now don't get me wrong the teacher is the first person to blame for this thoughtless act, but then again he didn't force a gun to her head did he? But on the otherhand this negative minded, perverted so called male teacher that takes advantage of a 12-year old boy is just sick. Sick, Sick, Sick. It's time for us to wake up people, and to become involved in the lives of your children, and teenagers. Communication is the key..... It makes me sick to my stomache to wake up two days straight, and to have to read the top story in the newspaper regarding teachers sleeping with students. For those readers that may be teachers or involved within a school district, something must be done to prevent these stories from repeating themselves, and to all of those sick grown men that somehow get a thrill from babies that might be reading this blog "GROW UP" and get some help.

Rita 51 This summer my grandchild got raped by a 26 years old man. she was 14 she told me it was her boy friend and later we find out what his age was. The kids needs put away too just like the teachers they know what they was doing too. They are all sick and need to answer to they action.
I agree with your comment about the teachers taking advantage of the kids, but lets back-up off the student. I understand that the child may have thought she knew what was going on, and thought that having sex with the teacher was a good thing for her. Keep in mind she is 14 and at that age she is just doing what is kool or hip. This ia a child dealing with a grown man who, by the way, her parents probaly told her to listen to and do what-every she is told. So I would put most of the blame on the teacher first then I would address the parents. First if the parents was involved in the student life and school activities like they should have been, they should have notice that something was not normal in the teacher / student relationship. Second if the teacher knew that the parents was involved in the students life the teacher would have less likely chose that kid to have sex with. Parents need to hold themselves accountable for some of the problems that kids have to deal with in todays school system. I understand that the cost of living is high and that it might take two parents to make ends meet but each and every parent have a responsibility to spend time with their kids and make sure they are safe while at home and at school. My mom raised ten kids by herself, and if smething was going on at school you better believe she knew about it. President Obama can take time out of his day to make sure his kids get to school and are safe and so should all other parents. It is time for all parents to take a stand and become involved in their kids life. Change only comes when we make an effort to can things, and dropping your kids off at school and not attending PTA meeting and working hand and hand with your kids teachers is not making much of an effort. Can we make a change "YES WE CAN", but it will take each and everyone of us to spend time with our kids to stop this Bs from happing. So MAN UP
